OKYU is an experience studio for live moments, built on story.
OKYU was founded in Vancouver in 2025, after twelve years of work in Istanbul. Since 2014, its founding team has built ceremonies, stages and shows for public institutions, global brands and international congresses across Türkiye, Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia, first as BİŞEYLER New Media Works, today BİŞEYLER Digital and Performance Arts.
Every production is made by a team assembled for it: directors, designers, technicians, performers and makers, chosen for the story at hand. The founding team leads the idea from the first sketch to the last cue.
The name on the door is new. The people and the practice are not. The idea has stayed the same since the first cue: the live moment is the most designed minute of the night.
